Our friends Keith and Jenny invited us up to Caseville last weekend to visit and stay in Keith's parents' cabin. Friday when we got up there, we went to the Marina on Lake Huron to try out Keith's new toy, which actually when we looked a little closer resembled a floating purple hot tub. It's name was "Plum Crazy". I think we exceeded the 600 lb. weight limit when all four of us piled in and the nose of the boat was practically in the water. We did take it for a spin, though, which was fun. The next day they took us on a tour up around the thumb stopping at different Marinas. We stopped in Port Austin to see their Farmer's Market there. Keith got some pictures of some John Deere tractors there. The weather that day was rainy on and off so we sported our umbrellas for the trip and Shane was very fashionable when we walked around the lighthouse area with his Lapeer West Marching Band shirt and my pink umbrella. We stopped at the Thumb's Largest Ice Cream Cone place in Grindstone on the way back. Shane and I had a great time and so did our pugs. Thank you Keith and Jenny for a great time! We should do it again next year when David, Erin, Jacob and Nathan can come too.
