My friend Norissa, who lives with her husband in Las Cruces, New Mexico, just called me yesterday and told me the good news that their first baby, Emerson Henry Lears has arrived. She was a brave person doing an at home water birth. Emerson was born on Tuesday, June 16th at 5:15 pm weighing in at 6lbs. 10oz. and 19 inches. Both mom and baby are doing great.
