Bicycles and Wet Railroad Tracks

Well, we had an early morning visit to the Emergency Room at Covenant Hospital on Wednesday morning. Shane was riding his bike to work and I get a phone call that he had fallen. The railroad tracks on Bradley Rd. were slick causing him to fall and hurt his shoulder, thigh and left wrist badly, but it could've been so much worse. I'm very thankful he's okay. Med Express wasn't open so we took him to ER to have x-rays done. They didn't see a break, but he has to go in for more soon to see if his thumb was broken. Sometimes that doesn't show up for awhile. He's wearing this lovely splint as you can see in the picture. He should have that for about 10 days. The hardest thing is that he can't type very well.
